About Dave
It’s pretty obvious from this site that I am a follower of Jesus, and much of the content reflects that.

Originally from Melbourne, my formative years were shaped by the Blackburn Community Network from 1995-2001, before I moved to a lead tenant house with Youth For Christ in Melbourne. Further lessons were learnt overseas in communities living out the good news of sacrificial love for the outsider: Los Angeles Catholic Worker, InnerCHANGE San Francisco and Youth For Christ South Africa.

In 2005 we moved to the neighbourhood of Long Gully in the regional city of Bendigo, and began Seeds Bendigo - it’s a small Christian community that seeks to help out in our neighbourhood. We are joined in this work by a bunch of great people who gather around St Matthew’s Church.

We have an odd family, including a dog, a foster-son and four foster-grandchildren, plus a beautiful baby boy.
